HOUSE

This work is based on an image of Talland House in St Ives, Cornwall taken by Leslie Stephens (Virginia Woolf’s father). Talland House is where Virginia Woolf spent her summers as a child and was the inspiration for her novel To the Lighthouse. For a while I lived in a house close to Talland House and shared the same view of Godrevy Lighthouse. The video overlays images and interpretations of my own memories and experiences of that period combined with elements taken from Woolf's writing.
